Disability Rights Montana's Virtual Conference

Disability Rights Montana announces, Shift the Narrative: An Intersectional Approach to Mental Health, a Virtual Conference scheduled September 14-18, 2020.

Let’s pivot and shift the narrative from an institutional to an inclusive and intersectional approach to mental health.

For 44 years, Disability Rights Montana has partnered with Montanans with disabilities to protect and advocate for equity in all spheres of life. Thirty years after the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we find ourselves still fighting for the human and legal rights promised to us. Let’s work together to create inclusive communities that recognize, honor, and incorporate all identities of people with disabilities.

During this conference you will have the opportunity to engage with nationally recognized disability and mental health activists, attorneys, and mental health providers for what will be an impactful experience! The conference will include powerful visions and tools for creating culturally competent, anti-discriminatory, and inclusive mental health care systems.
